Audience Profile Homework - Mobile Phones 

In this audience profiling you'll be able to see how many people of different ages, race and gender now days own a mobile phones and you'll be able to see how form even the age of a mere 6-7 year old they own the type of gadgets you once had to wait till your teens to get. Now days children usually start getting phones at 5-7 with roughly 35% of them actually owning their own phone! Now with 8-10 year olds the number increases as now days nearly half of children this age own their own mobile phone with the amount sitting at roughly 46%. 11-12 year olds are actually lower then the 8-10's but not by much as roughly 44% of kids this age own there very own mobile phone. Now we're at 13-15's we see this number increase massively as 87% of 13-15 year olds own a mobile phone making it no surprised kids games are easily some of the most popular games on the market now days. When we look at the 16-18 year old market the number does drop slightly but only to a small 86% making the teens dominate the phone market right now. Any age above 18 usually is around 85% however from the age of 25 we start to see the numbers dropping by usually 4.33% every 3 years eventually dropping really low. Now we know old people complain about the amount of young people with mobile phones but you'll be very surprised to find out that at the age of 60-70 42% of them own a mobile phone! Now this is probably to only make calls and such but it still counts because they own them so whatever.

Another remark that is a myth is that girls use their phones more often then boys and now that is true to an extent but during the kid years up until the age of 10 boys actually own more phones then girls with boys sitting at 47% and girls at 39% however we see this number change a lot throughout the teenage years (13-19) as 85% of boys own a phone while 91% of girls own a mobile phone taking it into their favour. Throughout the rest of the adulthood  it's really even with boys only slightly taking the lead at 86% and girls at 84%.
